I hate it myself, and hence, the most important criteria I note when buying an iron is what colour it is. I quite like aquamarine myself although my mother nicked that one on me and I'm making do with a pink/purple one at the moment. Which, I hasten to add, I didn't choose. </description>

					<description>I realise I should probably be serious and debating the question of added charges on the price of consumer increasingly non-durables. But to be honest...I'm much more intrigued by what you actually did to your old iron. It sounds slightly more entertaining that just dropping it or pulling the wire out of the end of it. </description>
