When I used to live in Germany, I had, oh, about 20 German television channels, Eurosport and Cartoon Network in English. When I came home for lunch, Thomas the Tank Engine was on CN - and by some margin, it was the best thing on television at that time of the day (German daytime television, ca 1995, had to be seen (once) to be believed just how bad it was). "Here comes the sun" is one of my favourite songs; for something that has been covered so many times, I don't think I've heard a truly bad version of it.
