    Beautiful photos. My grandfather, Patrick Joseph Kerin, was born and raised in the townland of Mooneen, just a few hundred yards from Old Head, in 1869. His mother’s family were local McDonaghs who had farmed there for the past century. My grandfather used to wash the feet of Croagh Patrick pilgrims on their return.
